WHAT THE COURSE COVERS
The safe application of handcuffs can be a key tool for increasing the safety of staff and those in your care, giving more control and reducing the time manual restraint or holds are applied. Our one day course gives your team expert knowledge in safe handcuffing.
By the end of the course, you will be able to:
• Understand handcuffing and the law
• Apply and remove handcuffs safely
• Manage and move a person in handcuffs
• Manage a person in restraint equipment on the floor
• Complete incident reporting
• Provide post-incident care
