Soft Restraint Equipment Training

Soft Restraint Equipment is a more sensitive and humane way of holding someone without the prolonged use of manual restraint. Soft Restraint Equipment is made from "Tough Cloth" with a hook and loop fastening system to provide an ergonomic, safer and more aesthetically pleasing piece of equipment to compliment your existing restraint training. Soft Restraints though material, still provide the same level of security and restraint that traditional handcuffs do without the increased risk of injury through their use. Our one day Soft Restraint training provides you and your team with an alternative approach to traditional handcuffs which are more humane and aesthetically less stigmatising alternative when dealing with an individual who needs to have restraint equipment applied to them. Course content includes: - Soft Restraint Equipment and the Law - Safe application and removal of Soft Restraint Equipment - Managing and Moving a person in Soft Restraint Equipment - Manging a person in Soft Restraint Equipment on the floor - Incident Reporting - Post Incident Care Certification: All those who successfully complete the course will be certified in Personal Safety Partnership's Soft Restraint Equipment Course.
